Happy Efya Ahovey is a seasoned media professional with strong expertise in radio
broadcasting, journalism, and governance communication. Known for delivering
engaging, informative, and impactful radio content that drives public discourse on
governance, politics, social development, and community issues. With a compelling on-air
presence and excellent public speaking skills, she connects effectively with diverse
audiences across Ghana.
Through strategic content creation and interactive programming, she contributed
to increased listenership and sustained audience loyalty.
Also led high-impact discussions on current affairs and national development where she conducted live interviews with policymakers, experts, and community leaders, manages audience
participation through calls and social media, and ensures accurate, well-researched
content delivery.
Beyond broadcasting, she’s deeply interested in governance, policy advocacy, youth
empowerment, and community development. With an academic background in Governance
Studies which strengthens her ability to analyze complex social issues and translate them into
accessible media conversations.
In her service days, Happy served as a court clerk at circuit court Ho, under the Judicial Service. Happy serves on the Finance & fundraising, media and communications committees of COMoG.
