Country Observers Mission on Governance -COMoG represented by Festus Elikem Boamah proudly participated in the Ghana Civil Society Forum (GCSF) 2026, held from 25th–26th June 2026 at Cedi Hall, University of Ghana, under the theme: “Reimagining Partnerships for Democratic Consolidation and Inclusive Development.”

The two-day forum brought together civil society organisations, government institutions, development partners, and governance experts to discuss innovative approaches to strengthening democracy, institutional sustainability, and inclusive national development.

Throughout the forum, COMoG gained valuable insights into:

-Sustainable financing strategies for civil society organisations.
-Strengthening democratic governance through collaborative partnerships.
-Responsible integration of Artificial Intelligence and cybersecurity in civil society work.
-Emerging governance reforms within the Ghana Civil Society Forum.
-Building stronger networks with development partners and fellow CSOs.

The discussions reinforced the importance of innovation, accountability, institutional resilience, and collective action in advancing democratic governance in Ghana.

COMoG remains committed to applying the knowledge and partnerships gained from GCSF 2026 to strengthen civic engagement, promote transparent governance, and contribute meaningfully to Ghana’s democratic development.
