On 28 May 2026, to mark World Menstrual Hygiene Day, Country Observers Mission on Governance (COMoG), in partnership with Z-Connect Network, completed its first PadHER project with a school sensitization programme on menstrual health and hygiene at Hoe R.C Primary School and Hoe M.A JHS in the Ho Municipality.

The programme engaged 150 learners from Basic 4 to Basic 8, providing education sessions alongside donations of sanitary pads to the girls.

Together, we created open conversations, corrected myths, and encouraged both girls and boys to understand and support one another.

The participation from students and teachers was truly inspiring, and this milestone shows that when communities collaborate, change begins in the classroom.
